The land behind the wall is owned by Tameside MBC. The work is to ideally be undertaken before March 2017 to avoid the bird nesting season from November to March inclusive. Site 2 - Walkerfold Culvert (015) Walkerfold Culvert carries Werneth Brook from south to north beneath Mottram road A57 Hyde. The culvert comprises three types of construction, from the inlet; Ch 0 -16.825m comprises a 900mm Circular Brick Culvert, Ch.16.825-61.35m comprises a brick arch culvert of varying dimensions, Ch. 61.35m - 67m comprises stone slabs. The culvert has a formed stone invert throughout its length.
