The extension will be brick and block cavity construction with solid concrete suspended floor, on r.c ground beams and CFA piles. The Crematorium was built on poor ground, using piled foundations, in the 1960s, with a brown brick and copper roof. The entrance and smoking areas are to be covered with a timber structure and GRP roofing.
