NICE are looking to procure an Identity Provider (IdP) and Federated Identity Service that provides secure authentication and authorisation for users who are eligible and are seeking access to online licensed information resources (such as bibliographic databases, e-journals and e-books) purchased for the NHS. This content could be purchased by individual Trusts, individual organisations, multiple organisations collectively (consortia), Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Local Education Training Boards and Health Education England, on behalf of some, or all, eligible staff.
