The Q3 magnets are normal conducting D.C quadrupole magnets with a solid yoke construction that provide a symmetrical field about the beam centre-line. Each Q3 consists of 4 coils which each contain a single feed and return line. The scope of the contract is to manufacture, test and supply the replacement coils for the upgrade of the Q3 magnets at ISIS.
