This process includes re opening of the over 55 age related hearing loss LQP and additional activity for 19 years and over. The activity includes direct access Audiometry or GP direct hearing assessment, for patients 19 years and over. Current locally qualified providers for West Hampshire Audiology Services do not need to apply. Direct access audiometry or GP direct hearing assessment, 19 years and over; Fitting of Hearing Aid (s), adult - routine or complex; Follow-up, Adult, Face to Face (hearing aid related); Aftercare (hearing aids); Follow-up, Non Face to Face (hearing aid related); Rehabilitative Audiology Service; and One to One - Adult Hearing aids. As indicated above, the intention is to re-open the locally qualified provider accreditation process to include the requirement for a service to all adult patients.
