They span the disciplines of science, engineering and professional services. The goals of this programme are to deliver a Development Centre that uses STFC's strategy as a context for 16 to 20 high potential candidates on the Accelerated Development Programme. In particular to: • To support the execution of STFC's 2020 strategy • To develop leadership skills required for the future sustainability of STFC • To strengthen collaboration, performance and resilience for change • To build the self-awareness necessary to engage and lead others • To apply new skills to solve real work problems Detailed Requirements: To design, develop and deliver a five day leadership programme with an organisational development bias that uses a whole system perspective and builds mind-set and skills in four key areas: • Strategic leadership • Collaboration and partnering • Team effectiveness and performance • Personal awareness and impact The focus of the programme is to develop the necessary skills and knowledge required to be a strategic leader within the realm of science, engineering and research. ### Key information • The Leadership Development Programme is to be delivered over a six month period. The programme should be made up of five days training, which will be delivered in intervals over the six month period. • The proposed training should adopt a face to face methodology. • There will be 16 to 20 participants per cohort. • The training will take place at STFC, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire. • It is expected that potential suppliers will be able to provide a team with a suitable level of skills and expertise to complete an organisational development project of this nature. • Programme is to be delivered to both cohorts of 16 to 20 delegates. The first programme is to be delivered January 2018-June 2018 and the second to be confirmed (circa January 2019).
