[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender The purpose of all surveys and re-inspections undertaken is to create a comprehensive register containing reliable information on the extent to which asbestos containing materials (ACM's) are present within all areas of the specified sites. The services are to be provided over a 12 month period and will be a mixture of fixed fee and call off against a schedule of rates as follows: ### Fixed fee - Surveys and Reports - Management Surveys Management surveys of over 100 corporate premises some of which have been previously surveyed as detailed in Appendix A. - Review of the current Asbestos Management Plans/Risk Assessments and recommendations for improvements and additions. Where a property does not have a current Management Plan/Risk Assessment, the supplier is to develop a suitable and comprehensive document. - Provision of a full asbestos register for each premise. - Labelling of Asbestos Containing Materials (hereinafter referred to as "ACM"). Asbestos materials will be discreetly labelled if they are likely to be disturbed by maintenance or other works. ### Call off - Schedule of rates - Surveys and Reports - Refurbishment/demolition Surveys of selected client properties and provision of fully documented reports - Surveys and Reports - Management Surveys at additional locations to those listed in the appendices to this specification - Scoping and specification preparation for all identified asbestos remediation works - Full compliance site & air monitoring service (UKAS) required during remediation works - to include contractor checks/audits, background, leak, reassurance and 4-stage air clearance testing - Undertaking priority assessments for all identified ACM throughout the portfolio - Project Management advice and assistance as required All surveys and management plans are to be completed and submitted within a 4 month timescale from a date to be agreed with the successful tenderer.
