It positions Newcastle as one of the few Universities in the leading Russell Group which will be able to offer programmes and research in medicine, dentistry, biomedical sciences, psychology and pharmacy with synergies across all three of its Faculties. The move requires relocation of laboratory equipment (identified on an asset register in-advance on the move), materials and personal office effects of up to 90 academic and professional support staff. Newcastle University wish to appoint a contractor to provide relocation services for the transfer of the School of Pharmacy, Health and Medicine from Durham University, Queen's Campus.
