The app will also collect monitoring data to determine success. The WM GLOSA project is a 12 month project (which commenced in April 2017) that was funded under the Department for Transport - Co-operative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) competition. The project lead is the West Midlands Combined Authority working with Birmingham City Council, Amey, IDT and SGTI. The Green Light Optimal Speed Advisory concept involves sourcing accurate information about traffic signal timings from the road side controller and providing them to the vehicle, so that the vehicle can calculate the most accurate speed in order to hit a green light. Additional information: Please note that start date is indicative only and will be confirmed after award. Please note that the envisaged overall value of the contract is for tendering purposes only and WMCA cannot guarantee that this level of spend will be incurred. ## CPV classification IT software development services Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/b6709d43-1a27-4e62-b17f-b4fbb3d9bcd6) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
