Also the HSE 1992 Act states that arrangements should be made to minimise risks from snow and ice. By providing a salting/snow clearance contract SCC can meet the requirements of this regulation.\\n \\n Premises that require this service include:- Administrative Offices, Fire Stations, Residential Homes, Day Centres, Libraries and Adult Learning Centres.. \\n The Provider must provide a reliable and efficient service seven days a week covering a 24-hour period. SCC would require a one-hour response time from the Provider identifying a weather emergency using the most up to date technology and agreed trigger point.\\n Mechanical snow clearance may be required at some of the sites.
