Charnwood Borough Council has a chargeable garden waste collection which has been in operation since 2004. The take up of this service has grown over this period and is now provided to around 29,000 properties within the Borough. CBC now intends to introduce a permit system to assist with the identification of valid subscribers. This will be via a secure numbered sticker fixed to the waste bin.
