DVLA currently inspects vehicles for a number of reasons, the purpose of which is to satisfy the Secretary of State for Transport that the vehicle being presented as part of a transaction is the vehicle relating to the application being made. The Contractor shall provide resources to support volumes of approximately 3,500 - 5,000 examinations per annum. Please note that volumes are forecasts only and are not guaranteed.
