The service will include the provision of assistance in the event of a medical emergency - eg advice on where to find medical assistance and remote intervention into the provision of appropriate care, settling medical bills directly wherever possible and/or arranging medical evacuation. This service also provide pre-deployment reports for territories to which BBC personnel may be deployed, highlighting notable local risks and giving useful emergency information.
