It is provided on thirty (30) Saturdays of the year for those who would otherwise need to travel long distances to reach their nearest recycling centre. The service visits various locations, and on occasions covers two (2) local sites on one (1) Saturday. It is the Authority's intention to continue to offer the service from April 2017 through the successful Contractor. The Service will exclude the collection of non Household Waste. It will also exclude Household Waste that is charged for at the Devon County Council Recycling Centres, garden waste and items that residents would be expected to present as part of their household waste collections.
