The council's vision is to implement an innovative physical activity concept which would turn identified localities in East Sussex into a "competition/game", encouraging children and adults to become more active in their local communities. The aim of this service is to provide an 8-week 'competition/game' across identified localities in East Sussex between April-November 2017 (during school-time), which will utilise the use of technology to track participation. The community-wide physical activity intervention should connect individuals with their local environment and support long term behaviour change through creating a social norm around becoming active.
