The service forms an integral part of the emergency and urgent care system and enhances the provision of urgent care services provided in south Staffordshire. In addition the service will include out of hours care to prisoners within Staffordshire . Contract length will be for 36 months with the option to extend by 24 months at the discretion of the CCGs. Anticipated start April 2018 Additional information: If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means using the internet. Midlands and Lancashire CSU is conducting this procurement exercise as a central purchasing body for another NHS body with whom the successful bidder(s) will enter into contracts for the supply of the services.
