The building is surrounded by exclusive shops, residential tenements, government buildings etc. and is opposite Grosvenor Church which shares the same cul-de-sac, off South Audley Street. The primary elevation is south facing and there is vehicular access via the cul-de-sac in front of the building where the main public entrance is located. There is also a fire escape to the rear with access via a walled courtyard, the adjoining tenement block and Mount Street gardens to the east.
