A number of partners have committed to co-locate to the new offices including the DWP. In preparation for the move the Council is seeking to appoint a suitably competent and qualified provider of security services to primarily manage the safety and security of public areas within the new building and the external perimeter during business hours. The security staff will be known as Customer Support Assistants and will provide a proactive presence in all public facing areas including providing a positive initial reception to clients, directional guidance and information on relevant Council policies. Companies with a demonstrable track record of providing security staff with experience of operating in similar customer-focused 'front-of-house' environments are invited to apply. The Contract is for a period of 3 years with the option of a further two annual extensions, subject at all times to satisfactory on-going performance.
