These hospitals are sited approximately eight miles apart. The Trust provides acute healthcare to a population of 258,000 located within West Lancashire and Southport and Formby. The Trust is one of the largest spending organisations in its two localities and the more money that is spent locally, the greater the positive impact this will have on the local economy, particularly for small and medium sized businesses. ### Scope Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust (The Trust) wishes to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Firm, for a period of 31 months commencing 1st August 2017 finishing 31st March 2020, to fulfil the role of the 'Competent Person' in the management of the following: To carry out 2 x yearly services on all theatre tables & trolleys. Planning is key to this contract as all equipment will be in use at varying parts of the working week. It is vital that a robust register is kept, ensuring all assets are serviced in the required time frames and do not run into the following financial year. The Trust will be looking for a solid maintenance contract and would like your company to provide a detailed quotation of the different levels of cover that can be provided.
