Bookings should be accepted online and over the telephone, in store is preferable but not essential and staff should be aware of the difficulties that families face when travelling with a disabled child/children. The ability to book adapted rooms, with appropriate equipment is key, where required by the family. Protection of grant funding is essential, so our preference is for any gift card/voucher scheme to be paid on redemption. Once the holiday is booked, the funds must be ABTA/ATOL protected. A full audit trail must be available, along with relevant management information and the ability to ensure that the disabled child is included on the booking.
