This followed serving of notice by the previous incumbent provider and the urgent need to ensure service continuity to the vulnerable client group (adults with learning disabilities). The contracted capacity is for 10 units. The service provider is additionally required to undertake work to make application during this time to CQC (Care Quality Commission) for the service to de-register and as necessary undertake associated consultation and preparatory work with service users, their support networks, staff and relevant other stakeholders, and to complete this process within the contract period.
