[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Northumbria Police owns 9 horses and 2 horseboxes which are to be kept at the contractors premises at all times for the duration of the contract. ### Premises The contractor shall provide the following premises dedicated to the mounted section as part of the contract: • Premises should be conveniently sited such that the mounted section may be operationally deployed to any location within the Northumbria Police area within one hour of notification. This includes peak road traffic periods. • Premises for the mounted section should be entirely separate from other equine facilities on the site. A separation distance of 10 - 20m should be maintained. • Stabling is required for 9 No. police horses.
