The MSc is preparing NHS Staff at many different levels for the future of genomics in contemporary healthcare. It is aimed at all members of the multi-professional team. It utilises innovative approaches to delivering masters level academic knowledge to genetics and non-genetics professionals to equip them to understand and embed genomics into their everyday practice. The qualification enables individuals at different levels in the workforce to implement change within their own sphere of practice, directing the workforce transformation required to make genomic services a reality in healthcare. It is envisioned that funded places will be issued to providers according to local demand with a maximum number allowed within each academic year. The total contract value is estimated to be up to £7.2 million. Total funds to be shared between up to 10 providers This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention. We also plan to hold a Market Engagement session in London at The Grange Holborn Hotel, WC1B 4AR on 12 July 2017 from 10:30-15:00. This will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and contracts, the process involved as well as network with others. HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers which may influence the final tender.
