Examples of potential pathways are: - 8 - 12 week programmes of primarily physical rehabilitation (patients may also potentially have some cognitive rehab needs) - 8 - 12 week programmes of primarily cognitive/behavioural rehabilitation (patients may also potentially have some physical rehab needs) - 3 - 6 month programmes of primarily physical rehabilitation (patients may also potentially have some cognitive rehab needs) - 3 - 6 month programmes of primarily cognitive/behavioural rehabilitation (patients may also potentially have some physical rehab needs) - interim placements where the patient is waiting to move on to a high level specialist facility - these placements will not be quantifiable in length of time, but rehabilitation should commence at the placement.
