The Public Health funding is used to deliver tailored cook and eat courses and communications plans designed by the provider. The programmes aim to improve the confidence and skills of residents to produce nutritious affordable meals from scratch. The skills gained aimed to tackle the obesity epidemic as well as reduce social isolation for many residents in Hackney.
