The study will also consider electricity private wire opportunities and district cooling and then test commercial viability of the preferred option(s). The initial techno-economic modelling will assess whether the lifecycle cost of viable scheme(s) identified are recoverable over a reasonable financial period, and at an attractive cost to potential heat suppliers and customers. o Part 2: If the results are favourable, and stakeholders are interested in pursuing the preferred heat network option(s), a deeper level of technical and economic modelling will follow in Part 2; refining or confirming assumptions, routes and connections and developing the economic model to allow commercial sensitivities to be tested.
