Each reviewer will review up to five individual country GHG inventories during a one week period in September. For three reviewers this week will be spent in Bonn with the other expert reviewers in their review group (requiring T&S support). The other two will be reviewing countries at their usual place of work. They will be required to pre-prepare questions and then work with the rest of the review team during the review week itself to check their assigned inventories' compliance with the IPCC 2006 Reporting Guidelines for Inventories. On the Saturday of that week they will prepare a list of issues for immediate action, and then spend several subsequent weeks - sometimes several months - finalising the full review report for each country.
