These developments offer major potential benefits for the future safety, capacity / efficiency, reliability and environmental performance of our transport networks - as well as implications for the design, construction, operation and management of transport infrastructure. The Department for Transport is undertaking a feasibility study to support the delivery of the Government's long-term vision for roads as set out in the Road Investment Strategy - to pilot a cooperative-ITS (C-ITS) Corridor on the Strategic Road Network (SRN).
