Directly adjacent to Smyth Street is a retaining wall that retains a car park. Approx. 17.50m length of the wall is of mass concrete construction with brickwork facing and the remaining 27.5m length is solely comprised of brickwork. Due to vegetation growth behind the brickwork in certain areas the brickwork has had to be taken down for safety reasons and requires reconstruction works. A 7.35m length of the wall requires the construction of a mass concrete retaining wall and all associated components.
