The successful solution will accurately record footfall at 8 Widnes Market entrance/exits and will allow us to improve our analysis of marketing initiatives. Data collected will be used to judge the impact of marketing campaigns and events, how they performed, whether they are a success and whether a campaign or event is worth repeating. We want to get an overall picture of Widnes Market activity, maximise sales potential for stall owners and maximise customer retention. We would also like to use data collected to tailor staff schedules, improve the layout of Widnes Market to enhance customer flow and optimise Widnes Market against past performance. The successful solution will include a reporting and analytics application which is to be accessible electronically by multiple designated users, from any Halton Borough Council office location and via any of the designated user devices e.g. desktop/laptop/tablet.
