The Council has identified a number of significant ‘strategic’ assets both within the city centre and at key locations elsewhere within the city boundary that represent significant regeneration, commercial or disposal opportunities. The Council has also recently launched a new City Centre Masterplan setting out a vision and set of ambitions for the next 15 years. Each of these assets, whilst very different in detail, has the potential to promote the delivery of this Masterplan, or benefits to the wider city, and/or provide an income or capital receipt to the Council.
