The NHS Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group Federation is considering its options for commissioning Vasectomy services. Specifically, the federation intends to commission a service which provides a no-scalpel technique vasectomy under local anaesthetic in a primary care setting after the patient has received counselling provided by the service. The service could potentially be delivered by a single provider or multiple providers, and the CCGs are keen for applicants to indicate whether they would look to cover the whole of West Berkshire or part of it. Should you wish to express interest, please indicate your preference to the above, where your organisation is currently situated and/or where your organisation would intend to provide the service from. There are currently three services in place with the total combined contract value standing at £80,000 per annum. The CCGs covered by this PIN are: Newbury and District CCG, North & West Reading CCG, South Reading CCG, and Wokingham CCG.
