The contract will run for a period of six months with the option to extend for a further six month period. An inventory of the furniture and equipment requiring disposal is provided in Appendix 4 of the tender documents. (Please note that the inventory may be subject to change). These items are stored in a central warehouse at the council’s premises. There may be a requirement to dispose of further items of furniture and equipment (stored at various locations in Stoke-on-Trent) at a later date but there is no guarantee of any such additional business under the contract. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
