Contractors should note that the works will be undertaken in a marine environment and therefore at high tides the outfall to be reinstated will be submerged. The contract also includes a few other minor works. These include the installation of a flap valve at the Mermaid Inn, Hugh Town, St Mary’s and replacement of a crushed outfall pipe at Old Town, St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly. Contractors should refer to the Schedule of Works document for further information on the scope of the procurement.
