Utilising information from Scottish & Southern Energy, the Council is also seeking an organisation to undertake a technical appraisal to understand the options for refurbishing the existing heat network including conversion from steam to hot water. This will include the impact on existing customer supplies; losses from the heat network; and the potential to free up additional capacity for network expansion.
