The CCG has created an early engagement questionnaire for completion, along with a draft specification for the service that the CCG is inviting potential bidders to provide comments and feedback on. The early engagement process will be used to help shape and create the final version of the specification. A market engagement event is due to place on Thursday 22nd October. The CCG is keen to encourage interest from small and medium enterprises and therefore consortia or groups of bidders to provide the single service are welcome, as well as larger providers. The service is expected to be delivered to patients registered within the CCG's boundaries and also to visitors to the borough of Westminster including those arriving via major transport hubs. The contract value relating to the above services is estimated to be in the region of £3.5m - £4.5m. If the CCG decides to undertake a formal procurement process then this is anticipated to commence at the end of October/early November 2015 through a notice on Contracts Finder, with the intention to have a contract awarded by December 2015 and for services to commence by the end of December 2015/ January 2016.
