Spa Green is Grade II\* Listed. All lifts are single stand-alone passenger lifts. All lifts are to be refurbished retaining certain stipulated parts. One of the seven is a hydraulic lift to be replaced with a Machine Roomless Lift (MRL). The Requirement The refurbishment project includes: Removal of existing equipment Supply and installation of new specified equipment Stipulated equipment to be overhauled and re-used All to be of vandal resistant design The replacement project includes the following: Removing existing hydraulic drive lift and all associated equipment Supply and installation of new MRL Retaining existing landing entrance frames and architraves All to be of vandal resistant design LotsLot 1 - Refurbishment of six (6) lifts, and replacement of one (1) lift at Spa Green Estate, EC1R 4TR Lot 2 - Refurbishment of two (2) lifts in Bagnigge and Spring House, Margery Street Estate WC1X 0HR TUPE \[Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations\]Potential providers must be aware that TUPE may or may not apply to this service. Further details will be available in the invitation to tender. Contract PeriodThe contract period will be for forty (40) weeks from an estimated start date 20 May 2016. Contract Value The estimated total value of this contract is £1,200,000 over the maximum term of the contract. However the Council is confident the bids received will be lower than the estimated value. Award Criteria The contract will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations. MEAT for this contract will be on the basis of quality 30% and cost 70%. Cost 70%Quality 30% Quality made up of:Proposed approach to programme of works 10%Proposed approach to project monitoring 10%Proposed approach to workforce management10% Total 100% Tenderers should be aware that we reserve the right to hold site visits and/or presentations and/or interviews during the tender process.
