This solution will further improve customer relations within the Council's Community Services and Regeneration Services, by allowing various interactions to be made directly online by the General Public, Elected Councillors, Contractors, Partner Providers, among others. These interactions will be relayed automatically to the Council's locally hosted Confirm Asset Management System (developed by Pitney Bowes). The online service must: Empower users to identify council assets, properties and locations of concern via post code lookup or map view navigation. Keep users (who have registered their contact details via the Self-Service Portal) notified of progress made against the submission using the Councils email system Facilitate (as a minimum) three types of submission reporting, these include: 'Report it' - Registering a complaint or issue with the Council. 'Apply for it' - Applying for a customer entitlement from the Council. 'Request it' - 'Requesting Council assistance in completing or resolving a Community matter. Persuading users to engage with Community Services and Regeneration Services, the design must be easy to use, intuitive and informative. The solution must be compatible with tablet/smartphones and the following types of operating system: Android. Apple (IOS). Windows. Blackberry. The service must also be capable of accepting payments for chargeable services within the hosted self-service session. As part of the evaluation, suppliers will be asked to attend a presentation/meeting within 2 weeks of the submission closing date.
