The requirements are for a genetic screening (Index test) and follow up familial screening (cascade) service. This notice serves to inform providers of the intention to procure these services and to seek information from the market. It is not intended as a call for competition. Responses to this market engagement request are required to be returned by 15th July 2016 17.00 Following on from this market engagement, the objective is to run a full OJEU (Open) procurement process to seek provision for a 2 +1 year contract, later in the year. This consultation/market engagement exercise is being used to gather views from interested parties around the current draft specification for the service. Organisations wishing to be involved in this market engagement exercise must register through the Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU’s Bravo portal. This will give providers access to the current draft service specification and providers will be asked to complete a short questionnaire aimed to gather initial thoughts from the market and to gather organisation’s details from providers who are potentially interested in delivering this service.
