For students to access this pitch from the external changing rooms involves a circuitous route and hence the construction of a new direct footpath will make access easier. The elements of the project are as below This Project will comprise of the following elements: • To design and construct a DDA compliant footpath in compliance with Section 8 and indicated Appendices of ‘ New Road and Street Works Act 1991 Code of Practice April 2010’ involving the following operations - • To excavate soils and cart away surplus • To supply and lay concrete path edging set in concrete • To supply and compact sub-base • To supply and lay Geotextile membrane • To supply and lay new top surface.
