The Department for Transport (DfT(C)) currently supplies a telephony service to both the Department and HS2 Ltd. Over 3,000 extensions are provided on a Mitel 3300 IP system in five main sites in London and Hastings. Other smaller sites outside of London either have their own PSTN number range mapped on to the DfT(C) 020 7944 extensions or are connected via the DfT WAN.
