This funding is being distributed across the seven Regional Transport Partnerships (RTPs) and the 32 Local Employability Partnerships (LEPs) across Scotland. Nestrans has received a grant award of 985,809 GBP for the 2026/27 financial year out of a total award to the RTPs of 11 million GBP. This funding will help to deliver on national strategy (Bringing Hope, Building Futures: Tackling child poverty delivery plan 2026-2031) plus regional and local strategies. Getabout is the established mechanism that Nestrans and partners use when engaging with employers and the private sector regarding transport needs and travel behaviours across the region. This can range from encouraging the use of existing sustainable travel measures or looking towards a more tailored approach with travel planning for specific workplaces. This project looks to evolve this engagement utilising the GetAbout brand, heightening impact by delivering on five distinct workstreams.
