It is intended that the submitted pre-qualification questionnaires will be used to select five contractors to tender for the contract. The contract will comprise detailed design, supply and construction of works to strengthen and support a 25 metre length of dilapidated, grade 2 listed, mass concrete and masonry quay wall using bored, small diameter piles, and to provide a relieving slab, supported on bored piles, immediately landward of the wall. The form of contract is NEC Engineering and Construction Contract, Option C: target contract with activity schedule. Construction is provisionally programmed for early 2017.
