The service supports the Out of Hospital ambitions of the CCG for the development of integrated pathways of care across health and social care, transforming care pathways by shifting care from acute to community and primary care settings where appropriate, avoiding hospital admissions if appropriate, and improving early discharge. Further detailed information on the service can be found in the service specification and Memorandum of Information documents. ### Contract Details The contract to provide the service will last for an initial period of three years commencing from 1st April 2016 with the option for a further two year extension. ### Procurement Process The Services being procured fall within those health care services to which the NHS (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) Regulations 2013 (No.2) relate. As such, the procurement of the Services is not bound by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Rather, the Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (the “Regulations”). The procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single-stage application process akin to the Open Procedure. No terms used through this Procurement or any other indication should be interpreted to mean that the Contracting Authority intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Part B services. ### How to tender Organisations interesting in bidding to provide this service will need to register on the EU Supply e-tendering portal [nhssbs.eu-supply.com](https://nhssbs.eu-supply.com) and search for tender ID 21296.
