The Council's dog warden service handles between 500 - 600 dogs annually and these dogs have to be detained in accordance with the statutory provision. This contract once let will be for the provision of 12 kennel units in the first year and a varying number in each of the two following years and will be for a period of three years commencing 1 June 2016. Additional dogs kennels may be required above the number set for any year and will be paid for per day at the agreed rate. East Riding of Yorkshire Council does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender offered.
