This roadside equipment will be required to communicate with a central application performing the metering algorithms and interacting with other sources of data and traffic control sub-systems. The relevant sub-systems would need to integrate with CHARM using openly available interface standards and protocols (e.g. UTMC, DATEXII); • To support the equipment, Highways England will also require commissioning and maintenance services and software support.
