Our contract requires that the successful provider operates within an 8 mile radius of WA9 1JR The current fleet is in the region of 180 registered vehicles and plant. In the main these vehicles operate within the borough of St Helens although, occasional journeys are completed beyond these boundaries. A rolling 3, 5 & 7 year renewal programme is in operation. The normal working hours for the fleet is Monday to Friday 6.30 to 20.00 & Saturday 07:30 - 12:30 nevertheless due to the diverse nature of the services provided the successful contractor will be expected to provide cover on a 24hour 365-day basis Tyres for passenger cars and light trucks must comply with European Regulation (EC) No. 1222/2009.
