The successful architect practice will be required to act as Lead Consultant and Principal Designer on the development of both the old Royal London Hospital site and the refurbishment of John Onslow House up to the appointment of a Principal Contractor for both schemes. This will include design development to RIBA Stage3. The LBTH wishes to procure a partner who is able to provide optional call off services to support the delivery ofthe broader Civic Centre. The Council is committed to improving the quality of life for both residents and businesses within TowerHamlets. In line with The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 the authority will consider how thisprocurement might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the relevant area. In orderto achieve this, it is our objective to work with existing and future contractors to secure an appropriate level ofcommunity benefits through the procurement process.
