They will provide assurances and guidance to government departments to ensure accurate and reliable data is recorded against the targets. Acquiring this data requires all 23 Government Departments, including a number of Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) affiliated with those departments, to report statistics covering energy consumption (buildings and business travel), waste arisings, water use and other key variables. This contract seeks to secure a contractor to collate, assure and analyse data provided by Departments on progress made against the GGC targets.
