Leeds Beckett Accommodation is a mixture of owned, leased, and nominations agreements and therefore essential that the system can support the different processes and the change in portfolio year to year. A typical application cycle runs from February – September each academic year with a volume of approximately 5000 applications. The current accommodation system is built in Oracle Forms and PHP. This system was internally developed and has been in operation for 10 years, and is unlikely to be resourced by the University moving forward. A new system is required to ensure we continue to meet the changing demands and expectations of our customers and the growing competition within the sector.
